Dr Jag Chana is one of the UK's leading Consultant Plastic Surgeons, with a clinical career spanning over three decades and a reputation built on meticulous technique, honest patient relationships, and exceptional standards of care.
He graduated in Medicine with a distinction in Surgery from the University of London in 1991, and undertook his surgical training in London before being awarded a scholarship from the British Association of Plastic Surgeons (BAPRAS) to train at a specialist centre in Taiwan, gaining advanced expertise in complex facial surgery. That foundation shaped the focus of his career: today, a significant part of his practice is devoted to facial plastic surgery, with rhinoplasty as a particular area of expertise.
Beyond the operating theatre, Mr Chana is actively involved in research and education. He lectures at national and international conferences, holds an invited Professorship at his former specialist training centre in Taiwan, and is regularly approached to contribute expert commentary in the national press.
At LGAC, Mr Chana brings his rhinoplasty expertise to patients pursuing facial feminisation or masculinisation. He approaches each consultation with care and candour — taking time to understand a patient's goals before making any recommendations, and placing honesty at the centre of every clinical relationship.
